Music You Grew Up With 1

Yes I'm getting on board with the Linky Craze sweeping the blog world at the moment. What I want to know is what kind of music you listen to when you were a school kid growing up.

You can put at many as you want up but cause I'm planning to do this each Tuesday I'm going to put 2 to 4 a week up, it doesn't matter what era they are from or what kind of music it is as long as it was music you grew up with. At the bottom of this blog you will find a Link to Link you blog to this one so that you can join in I can't wait to hear yours.

First here are two of my fav's (which I have both my parents to blame or thank for playing them as I was growing up)

This one below is called Puppy Love by Donny Osmond my mum got me hooked onto this one and I use to play it all the time thinking I would play this if I ever broke up with someone, but I never did play it when I & the other person use to break up.

This one Runaway by Del Shannon I have my father to thank for I use to play this song all the time.

I'm not sure who got me onto Skyhooks but use to pretend I was going to be doing this when Skyhooks brought it out in 1975 when I was 5 or 6 years old. All My Friends Are Getting Married

The final one for this week I grew up with is another Skyhooks one called Horror Movie released also in 1975, they even had this as the main song for a movie about a train disaster in Granville New South Wales in 1977 called The Day Of The Roses.

What are the songs you grew up with would love to know and you can play be using the Linky Tool below. I will keep the linky open till next Tuesday afternoon.
